Okay, happy post time!! Just kidding, I mean this post isn't like positively cheerful, but its just simply about a dreaming cat. So only a few minutes ago, I had been emailing my friend about a couple things she had proof read for me, when I heard a strange growling/rumbling kind of sound. It was almost like a you stomach when you are desperate for something to eat. I stopped and sat their for a minute. It came every twenty seconds or so. I went over to where it was coming from, my cat's bed in the kitchen. Now I only catch my cat ACTUALLY asleep once every several months. I believe this is the third time..... We got her a year and a half ago so yeah. Usually she is just cat napping, where she looks perfectly asleep, but she isn't. Cat owners know what I'm talking about right? Well she was twitching and rumbling that stomach sounding noise. I had caught my cat dreaming. I'm sure you have caught whatever pet you had dreaming, but what do they dream about? Haven't you ever asked that question. They aren't like humans, they don't have the common sense to put together something like someone is chasing them or the feelings of their puppies died or something. Do they simply dream about catching food or just biting a person what? They also unlike humans, don't talk. They can't tell what their dream is about. No one will ever know. No one. Sometimes people don't get the vastness of somethings. We take stuff for granted, accept whatever most people say. For instance, I know that there is some sort of alien life out there. Millions, billions, of trillions of miles away, there is some other life forms. If all those stars are suns, then yeah, there is going to be some other living form. That's not really my point, sorry. Think of all those miles, all those stars. The universe goes on forever. There are so many that you can barely comprehend. Its so hard to imagine something bigger than our tiny earth. So many lives and people that we will never meet or hear about on our planet too. Sometimes I get dizzy thinking about how there are other lives than my simple one in a town of 5,000. Maybe its all just a large Sims game. We are the sims and someone is controlling all these people. Humans will never know everything. It almost makes me mad. There is more to life than what we have, I can just feel it. I want to find out what my cat was dreaming about, what someone is doing in Alaska right now, or what comes after death. So my point of my entire rant would be this. Know you are not the center of the universe. Earth is a microscopic dust speck in our world. Know there is more to life than what there seems to be. Expect the unexpected because then the unexpected would be expected and nothing would be unexpected. So there isn't a reason to expect the unexpected if everything is already expected. Right? Just kidding, just go through life without surprise because anything is possible.

Kony 2012
Hey everybody! Or anyone reading this really. To work against what my first post is about, I give you Kony 2012. Joseph Kony is the number one international war criminal. He leads a rebel group in Africa called the Lord's Resistence Army. Kony abducts African children, gives boys guns and makes girls sex slaves. They kill their own parents or mutilate other children. Over 30,000 children have been abducted and 2.1 million people have been displaced. We are fighting to capture Kony TOGETHER. Millions of people are gathering around the world to ensure Kony is arrested. The group called the Invisible Children are taking donations and action. You can buy the action kit that includes posters, buttons, stickers, and two bracelets. One for you another to help spread the world. April 20th in most of America's major cities people will be getting together to cover the cities with posters and art raising awareness about Kony. You can view the video and learn more at www.kony2012.com. This is a chance to change our world. To bring us all together in peace. Spread the word to anyone and everyone. It is time for humanity to change.

Forever Young
Okay. So I know that my last post was slightly... hopeless. I seriously haven't got that much more hope out of anything, especially with the fact that Iran is blocking oil. Today's topic is being Forever Young. I slightly touched on this topic last time, but it really made me want to write when I heard the song Forever Young by Manian. It made me think.... what are the pros of being young forever? Well you look pretty and you get to go out to clubs every night, relive your college years. Yeah thats pretty much it. Lets look at the cons. Well you don't get to grow old with your soul mate (or whatever you believe about love), don't ever get to see your grandchildren, and after a while you would grow tired of life. I mean it. If you live for 5 thousand years and have a blast, that is great. But I promise you that someday you would want to die. If you had kids, could you stand watching them die? Would you make them immortal too? If you did, could you stand watching them lose their spouse or children? No. Unless you are a cold hearted bastard, you couldn't. They would turn their kids immortal and their spouse immortal. Eventually over a couple thousand years, everyone would be immortal!!!! Then whats the point? Nobody ever gets old and they just keep having more and more kids. I mean we hit 7 billion people on Halloween 2011. Eventually the earth will just get so over populated. So now your thinking, well if I want to die I'll just kill myself right? No. Part of immortality is you can't die. No starvation, drowning, burning, poison, acid, getting ran over, sickness, NOTHING. So, do you want to live forever? That is the question isn't it? Think about it some more. There is so much grief in misery in one lifetime. Yes, there is definitely happiness, but lets be truthful with ourselves, there is more pain than happiness in one's lifetime. Think of all the bad things that would happen in all that time that you would live. So much. Could anyone really live with that more than 150 years? So I leave you here, with this question. Do you really want to live forever?

oh and I promise something a little more cheerful next time.

A Somewhat Hopeless Post about Humanity
Today, all in less than six hours I read and watched three things. All three gave me a sense of hopelessness for the human race. 1) I watched The Island. A movie about how rich humans have themselves cloned for when the original people need organ donors or a baby. The two clones escaped and found out the truth. So the guy and the girl clone set off to find their originals. The guy's original tried to turn the clones in because he "wasn't ready to die". Later in the movie, the guy clone (Lincoln 6-Echo) says something similar to this. " Humanity will never be ready to die. They don't care what it takes, but they will always be ready to live." This alone just brought my hope for us humans down to almost nothing. 2) I started to read an article in the newest WIRED magazine. It was about how they were working on a pill to get rid of your worst memories. Doesn't that sound awful? Yes, sometimes you wish that you didn't remember somethings, but really? Isn't the pain of life what makes the happy times awesome? Don't throw away your memory in a rush just because things aren't going right for you. On to our next terrible subject. 3) I watched an episode of Numb3rs. A TV show that concluded in 2009 or 2010. It tells the story of two brothers. One is an FBI agent (Don) and the other is a math genius (Charlie). Together they solve crimes, blah blah blah. This one episode was about how 5,000 of these amazingly BEASTLY guns were loose in LA. A dealer that sold them was rich. I mean filthy rich. One of the agents took the dealer to a street where a random shooting had taken place. 11 people had been shot for no reason, because that dealer had sold those guns. They talked about how no matter where you sold your guns; that it would cause death and grief anywhere in the world. Not just in the US. At the end of the episode some of the agents discussed how no matter how many guns they found, there would still be more. The dealer also mentioned something like this "It is human nature to kill off each other. Through the generations, we just keep getting better at it". Now isn't that just depressing. Our human code is to kill, never feel pain, and live forever. Goodness in the 13 years I've lived, sometimes I think that in another 13 years. I will have lived enough. I don't believe there is a real purpose for us to live more than 90 years. I really don't. If you are on the brink of discovering a new cure for cancer and you die. Its okay. You don't have to come back to life to finish it. Someone new, with fresh eyes and younger thoughts will finish your work. I am also not going to say that pain is necessarily good, its just that sometimes we actually NEED pain to realize what we have going for us. I know your thinking, goodness she is only 13 she doesn't know anything. I don't know a lot yeah, but I have felt a good share of pain and despair over the last couple of years. It makes me realize how much my life is worth today when I am having an awesome time doing something with my family and friends or anybody. As for killing, well thats just stupid. Why do you need to kill? Yes, that person maybe vial and cruel, but they don't deserve to die. No one deserves to die. If anything, they deserve to live. Lets think about what I said earlier, there will always be pain. (Yes I didn't say that directly, but you get the jest right?) So you feel like murdering someone out of anger, don't. It is more painful to live than it is to die. I hope a child's view on humanity will help you in some way, become a better person.
